Highlights of the 10th Annual Sedona Lunar New Year Festival

Dear friends,
We are glad to let you know that we had the 10th Annual Sedona Lunar New Year Festival on Feb.8th.
Our celebration was a success with more than 300 guests from our local community and beyond. This was a unique opportunity to enrich cultural diversity and expand friendship in our community.
We would especially like to thank the local business owners who sponsored our event by graciously donating so many amazing gifts!
Here are some of the highlights of the day:
  • Students from the Parangello Players after school drum class performed on the Korean drums.
  • Coming all the way from Phoneix to celebrate this event were a Korean traditional dance performing group as well as Ken Koshio, the leader of a Japanese druming group.
  • Our final performance of the day was a Chinese Lion Dance to announce the beginning of the new year.
We hope you enjoy the photos of some our more memorable moments from the event. All proceeds of the event are forwarded to ECO (Earth Citizens Organization) to support its mission for developing community culture for sustainability.
As always, we will continue our effort to promote the spirit of love and care for the community.
With warm hearts,
President and Staff of Sedona Korean American Association
