Congratulatory Message from Youngwan Kim, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in LA

Dear Friends and Honored Guests,

I extend my sincere congratulations on the momentous occasion of the opening of the Korean Cultural Center in Sedona, Arizona. I wish to express my deepest gratitude towards the Korean American Association of Northern Arizona for being a vital link between the two nations and for fostering a sense of community among the Korean diaspora.

This year we are commemorating the significant milestones of the 120th anniversary of Korean immigration to the U.S. and the 70th anniversary of the ROK-U.S. alliance. Hence, I believe that this inauguration represents the embodiment of our shared history, the everlasting bonds, and the Korean American community’s dedication to diversity and multiculturalism in the U.S.

The establishment of the Korean Cultural Center, nestled in the scenic heart of Sedona, not only serves as a beacon of Korea’s rich heritage and vibrant culture but also as a testament to the substantial contributions of Korean-Americans to the socio-economic and cultural tapestry of the United States.

Once again, congratulations on this remarkable achievement. May the Korean Cultural Center in Sedona be a wellspring of cultural exchange, understanding, and friendship for many generations to come. May it serve as a vital hub, connecting hearts and minds.

Warm regards,

Youngwan Kim

Consul General of the Republic of Korea in LA
