Strategy and Skill: Yutnori and Dakji Take Center Stage
Yut-nori, one of the most popular traditional Korean board games, uses 4 wooden sticks called Yut, similar to dice, and is usually played in teams. And here’s the best part – this is so much fun and a bundle of laughs! Regardless of age, from grandpa to children, everyone can be one in a big family game. Daniel Jeong will guide you step by step on how to play this centuries-old game deeply rooted in Korean culture. And don’t forget about Dakji, a traditional folded paper tile challenge.
Tasting Tradition: Makgeolli, Shikhye, Sujeonggwa, and Korean Snacks
Dive into the authentic flavors of Korea with Makgeolli, a milky rice wine, Shikhye, a sweet rice beverage, and Sujeonggwa, a sweet cinnamon punch. Complementing these traditional drinks, savor the taste of Korean pop snacks.
